One of the great advantages of taking a break from event management is returning to the office refreshed. The flip side is catching up with the workload. Especially when it’s a busy week!
Fortunately we were assisted by Jill Davidson who has joined Integrity as our newest Event Manager bringing with her an impressive history of event and commercial partnerships management experience. Jill is already proving to be a valuable addition to the team through proposal input and ideas.
We’re incredibly lucky to be based in the beautiful city of Edinburgh and several of us had the opportunity to visit the Edinburgh International Conference Centre this week. This venue is exceptional in both space available and innovation. The team are extremely helpful and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. After the tour we had the opportunity to sample amazing cakes and treats from Leith’s, the centre’s hospitality and catering partner. Thank you for the opportunity to visit and we applaud your Plan-It Green initiative.
On the subject of sustainability and environmental impact, we’ve been working with a client this week who is very focused on being ‘paperless’. This has involved us reviewing all of our event processes, discovering and implementing creative new ways to deliver exceptional conferences and meetings with minimal paper usage.
Last week Scarlett attended the Championship Poultry Show in Derbyshire scooping some awards for her efforts. She tried to explain it to us but i’m afraid we still don’t understand.
Not to be outdone, Stuart and his family won the Bank Holiday Sandcastle Building Competition on Aberdour Beach in Fife. It was a kids competition, he just helped but we’re proud of him anyway.
