A day in the life of Marisa Fauci… It was a day full of challenge. I was organising a gala welfare dinner complete with live music and elegant catering at Iguazu Falls (Brazil) which lies in the middle of the jungle. During the night one of the worst tropical storms ever came over the area. I woke up at 4 am listening to the thunder storm and praying it was only a nightmare. By 8 am it was clear the rain was not going to stop. The client was on the edge of a nervous breakdown. I decided that if the group could not be taken to the venue, the venue had to come to the group - even in the jungle with a storm! So in 8 hours we transported the entertainment, the catering and even the decorations to the hotel. By the end of the dinner the whole group, about 130 delegates, gave us a standing ovation.
